In two words: Simply Outstanding!

I'm from the Philadelphia area and was in Los Gatos Memorial Day 2015 weekend so rented a road bike for 4 days from Undiscovered Country. I found them on the web and later learned that they are not your typical bike shop - they only handle rentals and tours.

They are very professional and set up my requested bike (a Scott Foil) to closely match the fit of my bike at home. They had a wide choice of pedals and included a helmet, both at no additional cost. While their stock saddle would probably have been just fine, they were happy to install my own saddle at my request.

I had an unfortunate crash during a descent while renting and they were EXTREMELY fair and reasonable re: the cost for the repairs. They charged their repair parts cost w/o any markup for margin or labor (well below my cost to purchase parts and repair the bike). Mike, the manager, said "we make money on bike rentals, not on your misfortune".

I highly recommend and will definitely rent from them again the next time I'm in town!
